Alexandra Doman, friends call her Ally,

is a native Philadelphian, trained and worked professionally in the US & the UK, and made the move to New York in 2016 where she currently resides.

 She holds a BFA in Musical Theater from Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Music and Drama and a Masters Degree in Acting for the Stage, Screen and Radio from the UK's Top Drama School (awarded by The Guardian), The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

Her self- written/ directed one woman dark comedy Screw The Ruby Shoes (with an original premiere in the UK at The Richard Burton Theatre in 2015) was showcased at New York's Hudson Guild Theatre in 2017.

She's performed in two national tours as lead vocalist for Cirque du Soleil's Cirque Dreams: Holidaze. Notable theaters include: The Chicago Theatre, The Fox Theatre in Detroit, The Kings Theatre in Brooklyn & The Shubert Theatre in Boston. 

She's portrayed roles in multiple Shakespeare shows: Isabella in a Shakespeare in the Park touring production of Measure for Measure with The Commonwealth Theatre Co. based in Philadelphia, Shylock in The Merchant of Venice with the Royal Welsh College, & Mopsa in A Winter's Tale at The Alchemical Theatre in the West Village.

She is a regular performer with A Work of Heart Productions in which you can catch her singing at NYC cabaret venues, most notably 54 Below.

She's signed with Upward and Onward Productions as a non-exclusive artist

Alexandra spent her childhood in the green room & touring bus of the Philadelphia Prince Music Theatre as the youngest member of their innovative Rainbow Company. When she wasn't in Philly, she was in NYC workshopping theater such as MTI & Disney's Cinderella Jr, where she originated the title role. 

She was awarded scholarships throughout her academic career first at the historical Germantown Academy where her portrayal of the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie awarded the theater program the prestigious "Best of.." in the Philadelphia Magazine. She moved to Chicago and the UK to continue her scholastic training.

After her training and while in the UK, she was honored to perform on stages in world-class theaters such as The Royal Court, The Gate Theatre in London, & The Richard Burton Theatre. She proudly worked professionally as a radio drama actress, worked creatively with students from top London Film schools, & sang American standard jazz tunes in Soho.
